Site description

A natural gravel spit first charted during the 1840s Wilkes Expedition as Point Pulley, later staffed with a wartime aircraft lookout before the shoreline filled in with homes. What divers see below today wasn't built by any agency — it's decades of neighborhood castoffs settled onto the bottom: appliances, small boats, tire stacks, and a satellite dish, now colonized with enough life to draw the occasional sixgill shark and reliably turn up sailfin sculpins after dark.

Not a navigational chart. Positions are drawn illustratively from pnwdiving.com's site briefing over a real satellite still (Web Mercator, true scale) — good for orientation and dive-brief planning, not for plotting a GPS track. Features move; confirm on site.
